Layali Horizon is a small independent ceramic studio.
The work is shaped through repeated testing of form, surface, glaze movement, and firing response. Most pieces are made in small batches, and slight variations between works are considered part of the process rather than imperfections.
In addition to ceramics, the studio occasionally produces small objects and experimental works developed alongside ongoing material studies.
What We Create
The studio produces handmade ceramic cups, bowls, plates, vases, and small sculptural or functional objects in limited batches.
Much of the work develops through ongoing material testing — including glaze movement, surface texture, weight, and firing response — while remaining connected to everyday use rather than purely decorative display.
Alongside ceramics, the studio occasionally includes selected objects and home pieces that naturally fit within the same material atmosphere.
We prioritize:
• Durable, food-safe glazes
• Natural and neutral color palettes
• Small-batch production
• Reduced packaging waste
Variations in glaze movement, surface, and proportion naturally occur from piece to piece during the making and firing process.
Thank you for visiting Layali Horizon.
Most of my ceramic work begins as an experiment.
I enjoy testing different forms, surfaces, glaze behavior, proportions, and small visual ideas that may or may not work the first time. Sometimes a piece changes completely during firing. Sometimes an unexpected detail becomes the reason I keep exploring a direction further.
Because of that, I tend to become attached to the results — especially the ones that weren’t fully planned.
This studio is not built around perfect repetition. It’s more like an ongoing process of observation, testing, adjustment, and surprise.
Whether it’s a finished piece in the shop or something made through custom requests, I value each one as part of that process. I hope the people who collect them can feel that too.
