Studio Approach

Every commission follows the same principles as the studio practice: observation, refinement, and respect for the behavior of clay, glaze, and fire.

Small differences in proportion, surface, texture, and firing results are natural characteristics of the material process. They are not defects, but part of what makes each piece individual.

Available Forms

• Ceramic cups and mugs
• Tableware and serving pieces
• Lidded containers and small storage forms
• Wall pieces and hanging objects
• Small sculptural or decorative works

Personal Elements

Form – Choose from existing forms or discuss a new direction.

Surface –  Select glaze combinations, textures, or painted elements.

Words & Symbols – Add personal text, patterns, or visual references.

Function – Create an object designed for a specific daily use or space.

Commission Process

1. Initial Inquiry

Share your idea, intended use, approximate dimensions, references, or preferred surface direction through the inquiry form.

2. Review and Discussion

After reviewing the request, I’ll confirm feasibility, estimated production timeline, and shipping details before work begins.

3. Studio Production

Each piece is formed, dried, glazed, and kiln-fired individually. Depending on scale and complexity, production usually requires several weeks.

4. Packaging and Shipment

Finished works are packed carefully and shipped internationally once fully completed and inspected.

Notes

• Because each piece is developed individually, variations in glaze movement, color depth, texture, and form may occur naturally during firing.

• These characteristics are part of the ceramic process and contribute to the individuality of each commissioned work.
