A handbuilt ceramic sheep sculpture composed of softly rounded volumes that remain visually continuous from every direction. The body develops as a single uninterrupted form, allowing the silhouette to change gradually as the sculpture is viewed from different angles. Dark accents establish a continuous surface rhythm across the white ceramic body, while contrasting black and white areas remain visually connected without dividing the sculpture into separate faces. Subtle variation in glaze thickness follows the changing contours, allowing surface movement to continue naturally across the sculpted form. Rounded transitions soften the relationship between individual volumes, creating a continuous body rather than a collection of separate parts. Handbuilt and transparent glazed. Completed as an individual studio work.
Handcraft Tolerance Note
Minor surface irregularities, including small pits, uneven texture, slight asymmetry, and natural glaze variation, are inherent to the handmade ceramic process and are not considered defects.
