Relax — handmade pottery isn’t as fragile as it looks. Most pieces are fine in the dishwasher (top rack is best) and microwave. But don’t go shock-treating them with boiling water straight after a freezer. Avoid dropping them, duh, and they’ll last you ages. And if a tiny crack shows up over the years? That’s just the piece living life with you.
