A handbuilt ceramic wind bell set consisting of individually formed ceramic components connected into a suspended composition. Each element develops its own surface through subtle variation in glaze thickness, tonal transition, and the relationship between glazed and exposed clay areas. The forms remain visually distinct while sharing a consistent material language throughout the set. Suspended as a single arrangement, the individual pieces move independently while maintaining the overall composition. Handbuilt and assembled by hand. Completed as an individual studio work.
Collection Description
A series of handbuilt ceramic wind bells exploring suspended compositions assembled from individually formed components. Each work develops a different surface language while maintaining consistent proportions, material relationships, and the interaction between glaze, exposed clay, and movement throughout the series.
Handcraft Tolerance Note
Minor surface irregularities, including small pits, uneven texture, slight asymmetry, and natural glaze variation, are inherent to the handmade ceramic process and are not considered defects.
